In 1977 Dr. Garrett graduated from the University of Illinois at The Medical Center in Chicago. Prior to that, he attended Ripon and Lake Forest Colleges for his undergraduate studies. Dr Garrett has been practicing in his Lake Villa office for over three decades. Dr. Garrett proudly stays on the cutting edge of the most advanced and comprehensive dental care available. Continuing education is vital to remaining current in our fast paced world; Dr. Garrett's commitment to education is obvious with his yearly ongoing education hours far exceeding those mandated. Dr Garrett is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, The Chicago Dental Society, and the Lake County Dental Society. You won't find him on the golf course. He'd rather work on his tree farm and the vegetable garden and try to keep all of the equipment running. He drives a white Silverado, and uses it. Dr. Garrett is an Eagle Scout (plus he attained the God and Country award) (and a couple of Palms) and has been a Scouting leader. He's a pilot and a scuba diver. He enjoys traveling anywhere, especially to places to which he has never before been.
